We do not pour on a subgrade we do not trust. Proper compaction testing, subbase preparation, and vapor barrier installation before every slab.

Specified concrete mix designs, batch plant coordination, and field testing on every pour: compressive strength cylinders, slump tests, and temperature monitoring.

Rebar detailing and placement reviewed against structural drawings before every pour. Documented and inspected before concrete is placed.

Our Process

How we deliver phase by phase

Every project follows a rigorous, documented process, so nothing falls through the cracks between phases and nothing comes as a surprise at the end.

Site Review and Subgrade Assessment

Before any concrete is placed, we assess the site conditions that will determine whether the work holds up over time. Soil bearing capacity, compaction levels, moisture conditions, and subgrade preparation are all evaluated and documented. We do not pour on a subgrade we do not trust regardless of what the schedule says.

Mix Design and Material Coordination

We coordinate with the batch plant to confirm the specified concrete mix design for each pour. Compressive strength requirements, water to cement ratios, admixtures, and aggregate specifications are all confirmed in advance. Long lead equipment, forming materials, and reinforcing steel are procured and staged before mobilization.

Forming, Reinforcement and Pre-Pour Inspection

Forms are set to line and grade, reinforcing steel is placed and tied per the structural drawings, and a pre-pour inspection is completed before any concrete is ordered. Joint layout, embedments, and sleeves are verified. Nothing gets poured until every element of the pre-pour checklist is signed off by the foreman.

Placement, Finishing and Curing

Concrete is placed, consolidated, screeded, and finished to the specified surface tolerance. Batch tickets are collected on every load, slump tests are performed at discharge, and compressive strength cylinders are cast per ACI 318 requirements. Curing begins immediately after finishing using the method specified for the mix design and ambient conditions.

Testing, Documentation and Closeout

Compressive strength results are tracked and reported against specification requirements. All pour records, batch tickets, slump test results, and cylinder break reports are compiled and delivered as part of the project closeout documentation. As-built dimensions are verified and any punch list items are resolved before we demobilize from the site.
